1. Don’t “lean in” to have something selected. Good staging would dictate a different selection process. One which causes no discomfort to either the performer or participant.
2. When placing attention on an object, avoid bad posture. This is an exaggeration of posture.
3. The way our body looks in relation to our actions is very important! Leaning away seems like a good way to put the spotlight on the magic, but it actually looks disconnected, or like your fist is about to explode!
